Access Self Storage, which operates 21 facilities in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York, is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donating $5 for every new rental it receives across participating locations. The initiative is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities it serves, according to a press release.
Local residents can participate by renting a storage unit during October. Every rental contributes directly to breast-cancer research funding, with no extra steps or sign-ups required from new tenants.
“We’ve always believed our role extends beyond storage. We’re neighbors and community members first," said company president Michele Cavaliere. “By joining the fight against breast cancer, we hope to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected, right here in our local communities.”
Founded in 1976, Access is a family-owned company. It operates one facility in Connecticut, 18 in New Jersey, and two in New York.
