Access Self Storage, which operates 57 facilities across the United Kingdom, is once again publishing “the most boring calendar ever” for the new year to raise money for charity, this time focused on themed units. Like last year, proceeds will be donated to Cancer Research UK (CRUK), an independent organization that provides research and information. The goal for 2026 is to raise a minimum of £10,000, according to a press release.
Each month, “The Storage Unit Calendar” features a space at a different England location. They are:
January: A small unit containing a set of dumbbells, encouraging viewers to set New Year’s resolutions (Edmonton)
February: A single red heart balloon floating inside a 700-square-foot warehouse, in honor of Valentine’s Day (Basingstoke)
March: Daffodils blooming in a 100-square-foot unit to mark the first signs of Spring (Twickenham)
April: An Easter egg inside a unit with bare brick walls, a minimalistic ode to the season of renewal (Nottingham)
May: A Darth Vader mask in a yellow locker in deference to “Star Wars” fans, who celebrate “May the Fourth” (Ealing)
June: A World Cup trophy gleaming against a unit’s silver-edged steel and polished concrete (Hayes)
July: A giant, inflatable flamingo in blue corridor, offering summer vibes (Guildford)
August: A single wooden playhouse giving tribute to new beginnings during “moving month” (Bristol)
September: Celebrating the back-to-school season in a 200-square-foot unit (Streatham)
October: Awitch’s broomstick leaning against the side of a unit, ready for Halloween adventures (Cheam)
November: A poppy wreath honoring U.K. veterans (Wandsworth)
December: AChristmas tree glowing in a cozy 50-square-foot unit, closing out the year with festive warmth (Brentford)

The limited-edition calendar is available for a suggested donation of £5 at all Access locations or via the company website.
In addition to self-storage and vehicle storage, Access offers records management, and office and warehouse space at select properties.
CRUK funds research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of more than 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.
