AMDG Innovations is now offering modular self-storage units to facility operators in the United States. More than 200,000 of these have been installed internationally over the last 15 years, according to a press release.
The pods were introduced at last week’s Texas Self-Storage Association’s Big Ideas in Storage Conference in Austin, Texas. They’re insulated, waterproof and offer climate control, and are built to withstand hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and fires. They can also be customized to match a facility’s brand color. Sizes include 8 feet or 10 feet wide and up to 40 feet in length. Single-story units can be stacked up to three high. The modulars are shipped flat and can be assembled by two people in four hours, the release stated.
“Contractors and distributors have a new solution to offer their self-storage clients that is strong, affordable and fast,” said David Miank, development manager for AMDG Innovations. “Owners will save thousands of dollars over other solutions and recoup their investment in about 2.5 years.”
