Amy's Attic Self Storage, which operates six facilities in Texas and has another under development in the state, donated $5,000 to Eldred's Nursery Foundation to support its mission of helping adults with special needs. The charity operates a plant nursery Belton, Texas, that also serves as a job-training facility, according to a press release.
“Amy's Attic Self Storage is honored to support the mission of Eldred's Nursery Foundation,” the release stated. “We believe in the power of meaningful employment and inclusion, and we're proud to help create opportunities for adults with special needs in our community.”
Eldred’s will host its annual wine-pairing fundraiser on April 26, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at The Smith Family Farm House in Temple, Texas. It’ll include a selection of fine wines paired with gourmet dishes, a silent auction and raffles. Inerested parties can register for $75 on Eldred’s website, by phone or in person.

Formed in 2017, Eldred’s provides individuals with disabilities opportunities to develop job and communication skills, social development, and experience in handling finances in a business setting.
