The Arizona Self-Storage Association (AZSSA) has named Peter Torres, general manager of All Secure Self-Storage in Yuma, Arizona, as the winner of its 2025 “Manager of the Year Award.” Torres was selected from managers at 900 facilities statewide, according to a source.
One of the many requirements of winning the award is giving back to the community, which is something Torres did when he offered free storage to a family who had recently lost their home, the source reported.
“When I won, Yuma also won, and that’s what makes me feel so proud of the work that we do,” Torres said. "It’s meant a lot to me because it’s kind of like letting you know that what you’re doing is good, that you are doing a good job for the community, for the customers [and] for Yuma.”
Founded in 1996, AZSSA comprises approximately 700 member facilities owned by 320 owner/operators and more than 130 vendor members. Member offerings include a legislative watch, legal resources, an online facility and vendor search, education events and networking, and an annual conference and tradeshow.
