John Gilliland, CEO of the Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC), which specializes in self-storage brokerage, construction and management and operates the Moove In Self Storage brand, has been named a 2025 Icon Honoree by the “Central Penn Business Journal.” He is joined in this accolade by Scott Weaver, president and CEO of APR Supply Co., who serves on IREGC’s board of advisors, according to a press release.
Icon Honors annually recognizes Central Pennsylvania business leaders over the age of 60 for their notable success and demonstration of strong leadership, within their chosen field and the community. Gilliland and Weaver accepted their awards during a celebration at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on Mar. 10.
“To be recognized among leaders who’ve shaped Central Pennsylvania’s business landscape is humbling,” said Gilliland, who’s been CEO of IREGC since 1998. “This honor reflects the dedication of our entire team, who live our core value daily: Do the right thing. When you prioritize integrity, in investor relations, operations or community partnerships, everything else falls into place.”
