During its recently concluded annual conference and tradeshow in Stockholm, Oct. 8-10, the Federation of European Self Storage Associations (FEDESSA) announced the winners of its annual awards. A commemorative dinner was held on the last night of the event, according to the association website. This year’s recipients are:
Independent Store of the Year: Storemore in Carabanchel, Spain
Innovation Award: Storeganise
Manager of the Year: Gabi Nuñez of Alkila Trasteros in Barcelona, Spain
Multi-Site Operator Store of the Year: Annexx of France
Sustainability Award: Storemore in Madrid, Spain
Expansion/Conversion of the Year: Lockall in Suresnes, France
Founded in 2004, FEDESSA consists of 14 self-storage associations across Europe and represents about 2,000 facilities. The organization hosts its annual conference each fall in a different European city. This year’s event attracted more than 700 industry professionals from around the globe.
