A high-speed chase ended late Friday night when the pursued driver crashed his Jaguar into Davie RV & Boat Storage in Mocksville, North Carolina, according to a source.
Ceante White, 28, of Statesville, North Carolina, was arrested after leading police on a pursuit that began shortly before midnight on U.S. Highway 64 E., reaching speeds of 130 mph. The chase continued into Davie County, where deputies deployed spike strips near Dalton Road, deflating White's tires. Despite the damage, he continued to flee before losing control and crashing at 814 S. Main St., the source reported.
White was evaluated by emergency medical services at the scene and released into custody. He faces multiple charges, including felony fleeing to avoid arrest, driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and injury to property.
White is being held on a $12,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Davie District Court on Feb. 26.
