Inside Self-Storage (ISS) has released a new episode in its “Sounds of Storage” podcast series that offers ideas for holiday marketing and ways for facility operators to connect with their communities this fall and winter. In this 11-minute interview, Sarah Beth DeFazio, vice president of sales and development for Universal Storage Group (USG), explains how to maximize promotional efforts and events at the end of the year. She also provides specific examples and offers guidance on how to get started.
This new audio and others in the “Sounds of Storage” series can be found on the ISS Podcasts page.
DeFazio entered the self-storage industry in 2012 as a facility manager for USG, which offers industry consulting, property-management services and employee training. She was the company’s business-development manager for six years before transitioning to her current role. Based in Atlanta, USG owns six facilities and manages more than 70 in other states for other owners.
