Inside Self-Storage (ISS) has released a new episode in its “Sounds of Storage” podcast series that explores industry development and what trends lie ahead in the coming year. In this 12-minute interview, Aaron Saunders, president of Spartan Construction, discusses the biggest challenges developers and builders are facing as we enter 2026, whether those headwinds are likely to improve next year, and when we might see another surge in product demand. Saunders also shares the market indicators he’s watching and offers advice for those who are serious about launching a new project.
This new audio and others in the “Sounds of Storage” series can be found on the ISS Podcasts page.
With more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry and a background in real estate since 2006, Saunders holds a general contractors license and is a certified project-management professional.
