John Gilliland, CEO and founder of self-storage firm The Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC), who’s also a competitive driver for Kellymoss Racing, has been crowned Pro-Am Driver Champion for the 2025 Porsche Endurance Challenge North America. This year Gilliland competed in the 992 GT3 Pro-Am class alongside professional driver Riley Dickinson at Sebring International Raceway in Florida. He also raced at Sonoma Raceway in California, Circuit of the Americas in Texas and Road Atlanta in Georgia. Race lengths varied from 90 minutes to four hours, each including pit stops and driver changes, according to a press release.
Gilliland clinched the national championship following a standout season with multiple podium finishes, including a first-place victory at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, alongside professional driver Aaron Jeansonne. He also had a pair of third-place finishes at Sonoma Raceway and Road Atlanta. His performance during the season contributed to the Kellymoss team’s championship title.

Additionally, Gilliland competed in the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America series, where he finished fifth overall. Sprint Challenge races are 35 minutes plus one lap, focusing on speed and precision, the release stated.
Gilliland races a Porsche 911 model 992 GT3 Cup, which is powered by a 4.0-liter, flat-six engine producing 510 horsepower and capable of reaching top speeds of 170 mph. His car features a cow-themed livery, honoring his dairy farming background and his business, Moove In Self Storage.
“This is a very proud moment for me, achieving this milestone in my fourth season as a race car driver,” Gilliland said. “I have to thank my coach, Riley Dickinson; car chief, Donnie Leonard; and the entire Kellymoss Race team for their support and encouragement throughout the season. I think about the countless hours of training, data review and testing that go into driving a high-performance car like this. I would also like to thank my wife, Denise, for encouraging me to pursue my passions. I’ve dreamed of this moment for many years.”
