The North Hampshire Self Storage Association (NHSSA) will become a part of the Northeast Self Storage Association (NeSSA) effective Jan. 1. The merger was approved by the boards of both organizations following a vote from members earlier this year, according to a NeSSA press release.
The unified association will continue operating under the NeSSA name, serving self-storage facility owners, managers vendors and other industry professionals in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. All current NHSSA members will become full NeSSA members. They’ll benefit from increased event programming, broader geographic representation and coordinated advocacy on individual state legislative matters. All previous contact methods for the NHSSA will be switched to NeSSA’s information on Jan. 1, the release stated.
“Bringing NeSSA and NHSSA together marks a tremendous milestone for our region,” said Jessica Lamoureux, president of NeSSA. “This merger strengthens our voice, expands our reach, and allows us to deliver even greater value to self-storage owners and operators across the Northeast. We’re excited to welcome our New Hampshire members and look forward to building an even stronger, more united community.”

“Merging NHSSA into the NeSSA organization offers significant benefits to our members,” said Alison Conlon, president of NHSSA. “A larger, combined organization can help streamline costs and increase revenue, which will in turn allow us to offer more services and invest in our future.”
NeSSA represents self-storage professionals in the Northeast. It aims to strengthen the industry by promoting professional standards and quality, and presenting a unified voice on issues affecting its members.
