PTI Security Systems, a provider of access-control technologies for the self-storage industry, has partnered with Trachte Building Systems, a manufacturer and supplier of self-storage buildings, to bundle ProEdge smart latches with unit doors across all Trachte-owned brands including MakoRabco and Trac-Rite. The new bundle is available through both companies’ sales channels, according to a press release.
Trac-Rite doors can be ordered pre-drilled to accept ProEdge hardware at no additional cost. This eliminates the need for adapters while reducing field labor and installation time. The bundle includes a five-year extended warranty offering service and support on the doors and smart latches. Through Trac-Rite’s Renew-Rite retrofit program, operators who are upgrading existing facilities can receive a free lock installation with a Trac-Rite door replacement, the release stated.
