Steel & Metal Systems Inc. (SAMS), a provider of self-storage building solutions, named Cable Stokes vice president of construction. He’ll focus on strengthening internal processes, enhancing client relationships and supporting growth for SAMS and its sister company, Roll-Up Door Inc. (RDI), which manufactures rolling-steel doors for the commercial and industrial sectors, according to a company newsletter.
With more than 35 years of experience in structural engineering, architecture and construction leadership, Stokes has successfully managed high-rise developments, multi-million-dollar data centers and complex commercial projects. His leadership combines practical field knowledge with strategic design vision, enabling him to build effective teams while prioritizing client relationships and collaborative problem-solving, the newsletter stated.
Most recently, Stokes served as national director of operations for Houston-based real estate company Pipeline Realty, which has acquired, developed, repositioned or redeveloped more than 100 commercial projects totaling more than 2.5 million square feet.
