Capco Steel Inc., a metal-building supplier specializing in self-storage, and its construction division, Capco General Contracting (CGC), are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. In addition, the companies have named Nicholas Bergmann as their new president, according to a press release.
Capco was founded in 1985 in San Antonio, Texas. Bergman joined CGC in 2014 as chief operating officer. Prior to this most recent promotion, he served as vice president for both companies.
"As we celebrate 40 years of excellence, I am deeply honored to guide Capco into its next chapter," Bergmann said. "We will stay true to the values that built our foundation—integrity, dedication, excellence and authenticity—while embracing the future."
Capco fabricates steel self-storage structures. CGC, which has been named among “Best Places to Work” by the “San Antonio Business Journal” three years in a row, provides general-contracting services, with a specialty in single- and multi-story, climate-controlled buildings, conversion projects, and facility expansions and remodels. To date, it has been involved in the construction of more than 70 million square feet of commercial and industrial projects in 32 states.
