Update 10/13/25 – For the second consecutive year, IREM was selected as one of the “Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania” by the “Central Penn Business Journal,” “Lehigh Valley Business,” Best Companies Group and BridgeTower Media. The company’s designation and rank will be revealed during an awards celebration on Dec. 4 at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, according to a press release.

10/15/24 – Investment Real Estate Management LLC (IREM), a self-storage management firm, was selected as one of the “Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania” in 2024 by the “Central Penn Business Journal,” “Lehigh Valley Business” and BridgeTower Media. The company’s ranking will be revealed during an awards celebration on Dec. 12 at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, according to a press release.
The annual campaign identifies and honors the best places of employment in three corporate categories: small (15 to 99 employees), medium (100 to 249) and large (250 or more). IREM falls in the medium category. To be eligible, businesses must be open a year or longer, employ at least 15 people, and have one or more locations in the state.
The winner selections are based on a survey conducted by Best Companies Group, which also analyzes the data and determines the final rankings. Both the employers and their staff are asked to complete an in-depth questionnaire. Each company is evaluated on its workplace policies, practices and demographics, which account for 25% of its total score. The employee survey determines the remainder. The scores are then combined to determine rank.
