12/22/22 – Storage Asset Management (SAM), a self-storage operator and management company, was named a “Best Place to Work in Pennsylvania” by the “Central Penn Business Journal” and “Lehigh Valley Business.” It’s the third consecutive year that SAM has been recognized. An awards ceremony was held on Dec. 8, according to a press release.
The campaign identifies, recognizes and honors the best places of employment in three company categories: small (15 to 99 employees), medium (100 to 249) and large (250 or more). SAM falls into the latter. To be eligible, businesses must be open a year or longer, employ at least 15 people, and have one or more locations in the state.
The survey was conducted by Best Companies Group, which also analyzed the data and determined the final rankings. Each company was evaluated on its workplace policies, practices and demographics, which accounted for 25% of the total score. An employee survey measured the staff experience for the remainder. The scores were then combined to determine the ranking.
“We are thrilled and humbled to be named a ‘Best Places to Work company in PA’! Our mission is to positively impact those we work with and the communities around us while striving for best-in-class performance,” said CEO Alyssa Quill. “The ‘Best Places to Work’ recognition affirms our approach that if we focus on relationships, the success will follow.”
