StorageDefender Inc., a provider of smart security solutions for the self-storage industry, has hired Colleen Barraclough as vice president of client success. She’ll focus on scaling customer onboarding, refining training frameworks and developing operational playbooks for clients, according to a press release.
Barraclough has nearly two decades of leadership experience. Most recently, she was the global head of delivery and vice president of customer success for Daxtra Technologies, a provider of artificial-intelligence-powered recruitment software. During her 11-year tenure, she built global operations from the ground up and managed teams worldwide.

Launched in 2018 and based in Denton, Texas, StorageDefender offers a subscription-based, unit-monitoring service for self-storage operations that’s built on an Internet of Things platform. It provides reporting and notification capabilities relating to motion, temperature and humidity. The company also offers Smart Zones sensors that can be deployed throughout the common areas of a facility including the management office, hallways and entry points and more.
