Yardi Systems Inc., which provides management software for various types of commercial real estate including self-storage, was named to the Forbes 2024 Cloud 100 list, which ranks the top private cloud companies worldwide. Yardi was included on the inaugural list in 2016 and placed at No. 36 this year, according to a press release.

“For nine years, the Forbes Cloud 100 list has recognized the leading private cloud companies in the world, from [artificial intelligence] to work software, infrastructure to security,” said Alex Konrad, editor of the annual list. “This year’s list is the strongest group of standouts yet, with revenue, valuations and growth that will eventually make for historic [initial public offerings].”

Founded in 1984 and based in Santa Barbara, California, Yardi develops and supports software for commercial-property management. It’s self-storage program, Breeze Premier, enables facility accounting and operation. The company also offers GoodShield stored-goods protection, the Matrix market-intelligence solution and the RentCafe Self Storage marketing and leasing solution. It serves clients worldwide from offices in Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and North America.
