The Spanish Self-Storage Association, officially known as Asociación Española de Self Storage (AESS), announced award winners at its conference and tradeshow in Madrid on March 12. Though it was the organization’s 17th annual event, this was the first time that AESS issued awards, according to an April 1 newsletter distributed by the Federation of European Self Storage Associations (FEDESSA) to its members.
The honors recognize outstanding achievements, quality and innovation in the Spanish self-storage sector. This year’s winners were selected through expert evaluations of each candidate, votes from conference attendees and public support on social media.
They are:

Best Facility: Storemore Móstoles, the first facility in Spain to receive the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method Excellent certification for sustainability
