Police are investigating an incident that occurred on Monday evening when a vehicle crashed into a self-storage facility in Fresno, California. Authorities said the driver, who’s in his early 40s, was suspected of being under the influence after driving into Derrel’s Mini Storage at 3245 S. Chestnut Ave. around 5 p.m.
When police arrived, they found a white SUV on its side. It had crashed through a block wall surrounding the property, damaging part of the facility and its sign. No injuries were reported, according to a source.
Derrel’s operates 69 self-storage facilities across California.
