The Texas Self Storage Association (TXSSA) is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, a milestone reflecting four decades of industry leadership, education and advocacy on behalf of the local self-storage community, according to a press release. The organization has also released its 2026 schedule of offerings.
TXSSA will host a variety of events throughout the year. These include area luncheons and networking happy hours in Austin, Dallas, Fort-Worth, Houston and San Antonio, and an Executive Retreat taking place June 10-12 at Hotel Vin in Grapevine, Texas. The association will also host a series of monthly educational webinars focused on self-storage lending, boat/RV storage, eviction law, operational best practices, digital marketing and customer service. These begin in February and end in August. The annual conference and tradeshow, dubbed “Big Ideas in Storage,” is happening Nov. 4-6 in Austin, Texas. Details can be found at txssa.org.

Established in 1986, the TXSSA is dedicated to enhancing the quality of the self-storage industry in Texas. It provides opportunities for members to increase their knowledge of the business through education, research, discussions and exchange of information, the release stated.
