Pink Storage, which operates 19 self-storage locations throughout the United Kingdom, is supporting Cardiff City FC Community Foundation, the official charity of Cardiff City Football Club, by providing a free unit in which to store equipment for its education and community programs. The space at Pink’s Cardiff site is a four-minute walk from the charity’s base, according to a press release.
The foundation was recently notified that its current self-storage unit would be no longer available beginning next month. “What started as a difficult situation has now been turned around,” said Catherine Angle, head of fundraising and external engagement for the foundation. “Having to move out of our current storage facility could have created significant financial challenges and affected the vital work that we do, but thanks to Pink Storage’s quick support, we now have a safe, accessible and local solution that allows us to continue without interruption.”

“We jumped at the chance to support the CCFC Community Foundation at a time when they urgently needed a solution,” said Pink Storage CEO Scott Evans. “Their work has a hugely positive impact across Cardiff and its surrounding areas; and providing a nearby, secure storage unit was a simple and practical way for us to help keep their endeavors moving without disruption.”
Cardiff City FC Community Foundation supports children, young people and families across South Wales through education, sport and community projects.
Founded in 2016, Pink Storage offers container-based and mobile storage as well as related services.
